For this Dolce & Gabbana make-up brand film, we created a project that connects the images from the Maison’s haute couture show with the visual universe of the cosmetic collection. Our intention was to build a visual continuity between couture and make-up while staying true to the aesthetic codes of Dolce & Gabbana. The Sicilian spirit, baroque influences, patterns, colours and dramatic elegance shaped our approach.

We designed the storyboard, the art direction, the visual design and the animation. The film relies on fragments from the show, as well as textures and colours from the collection, to form a coherent visual language. Each element is developed to create a natural link between the two worlds. This work is a brand film rather than an advertising piece, a way to translate the identity of Dolce & Gabbana into a visual structure that is precise, controlled and faithful to the Maison.
