Saut d'Hermès - Ryan




The Saut d’Hermès is the most prestigious international show-jumping event hosted by Hermès, held in Paris at the Grand Palais. For this edition, Hermès paid tribute to its champion Ryan with a film celebrating his career and the family story that shaped his legacy across the world’s greatest competitions.

We were asked to tell this journey through a visual language mixing photographs and illustrations. The film takes the form of an animated collage, where materials, drawings and scenery come to life through stop-motion. This handmade approach creates an authentic, offbeat atmosphere that reflects both Ryan’s character and the spirit of the sport.

The final piece was screened during the 2023 Saut d’Hermès at the Grand Palais Éphémère.
